Happy Halloween!

I love Halloween!  I really love Halloween!  My stash of scrappy supplies for Halloween is far larger than for any other time of the year.  And that means I have tonnes of supplies and ideas for projects that I just never seem to have the time for.  This year I dug deep and pulled out a wood set from Carolee's Creations, from about 3 years ago I think.  I found the perfect paper and went to work.  And of course, my kids love it, but I think that has more do to with the lollipops than anything else.

Supplies - Paint - Apple Barrel, Plaid; Papers - Basic Grey Eerie; Lettering- Thickers; Eyes - SEI monsters; Metallic Rub On - Craf-T.

Fall is definitely here!

Here I've used Best Creations Hello Fall Line to frame some of my fall pictures.  The glitter papers are really fun and all this was made from three sheets of it!

Sorry about the colour on this photo. After many attempts to get better colour I gave up.  IRL it is more orange and less pink.

Love me some scary Fancy Pants!

I LOVE Halloween!  But if you looked in my scrapbooks you'd never know that!  You'd probably think I'm not really that into Halloween by the lack of Halloween pages.  So over the last few weeks I've been working on rectifying that.  I have a stack of photos I am working hard to get onto pages.  Here's a selection of pages and cards I created from the Fancy Pants October 31 line.  Love it!!!  Might be all the purple - but I definitely love it.

All supplies are Fancy Pants unless noted. (Cardstock is Coredinations and Bazzill)

Apologies for the foggy looking photo on the right hand side.  There's actually a transparency over it and I have yet to figure out how to accurately photograph that.

More from My Mind's Eye

I have really enjoyed using all the products from MME Lost and Found Christmas line.  Everything just works so well together!  Everything is MME except the inks for the edges. the cardstock (Bassill) and the lettering for Jingles (from my stash).  Thanks for looking!

Christmas Card Holder

I know this isn't a new product from Kaiser Kraft, but I still think this Christmas Tree Card Holder is pretty neat.  I dressed it up in products from MME Lost and Found Christmas line.  I used acrylic paint for the base, the ornaments and the back and applied the patterned paper with modge podge, with which I have a love-hate relationship.  I inked the edges of all the patterned paper pieces and I finished the edges of the tree and the ornaments with gold ink and fine golf embossing powder.  I really like the way it came out.  Now I just have to decide if this is a gift or a keeper.

Thanks for taking a look!
(If you'd like to see it in real life, it will be on display at Lila's Scrapbooking.)

Anniversary Card

I've been having loads of fun playing with the MME Lost and Found Christmas line.  There is so much to it and it is so inspiring!  Here's just a sample of what I've been creating (more will be posted next week). My mom asked me to make a card for her friend's 50th Anniversary.  I wish I could have made it more specific to the event (couldn't find my Happy Anniversary stamp) but I was still happy with the final product.

The heart was cut on my Cricut (Home Decor) then pop dotted to the base of the heart.  That was then placed on mulberry paper.  The patterned paper and ribbon are all from MME.
