Reminisce - Anything for Love

I'm always a fan of Reminisce and their new line, Anything for Love is no exception!  Love it!  Very fun to work with!  The only thing that challenged me was all the stickers that came with it.  I'll admit I usually don't use a whole lot of stickers, but I took on the challenge to see what I could do.  I'll also admit I'm becoming addicted to Let's Scrap sketches, as you'll see.  I counted all of these towards my January LOAD too!  If you'd like to take a closer look these are on display at Lila's!

note: With all the dark dreary weather we've been having I'm struggling to get enough natural light for decent photos.  I apologize for the poor images and please note that the ombre effect on the photos of the LOs is not intentional, nor is it there on the actual LOs.

Thanks so much for taking the time to look at my blog!

Core'dinations

I'm loving the LOAD challenge over at Let's Scrap!  And I especially love that they are emphasizing the purpose of just getting some creating done.  They are very flexible allowing participants to do layouts, cards, and even complete past kits or class projects.  Their approach is working...I'm scrapping!
Every fall I attend the BC Crop for Kids, a fundraising crop for BC Children's Hospital, held in Abbotsford BC.  This is truly like no other crop!  I always look for classes taught by Cari Locken.  Although this past year she had to step back from the class I still took it.  It was was sponsored by Core'dinations.  Cari was able to come to the class which I thought was amazing!  I learned a whole lot about Core'dinations and just how much I didn't know you can do with that paper!  I finished these LOs for the LOAD and now have one more less kit on my shelf!

Dance

I love winter.  I know several scrappers that like the winter weather so they can stay indoors and scrap. Not so true for me.  My kids have had three snow days this week and I've hardly scrapped a thing.  Every day we've had snow we've made trips to the nearby park.  That means me pulling two kids in two sleds with another couple of sleds in tow there and back plus the time on the hill - twice a day.  It is absolutely gorgeous outside but I'm so tired that I'm going to bed at almost the same time as the kids!  Needless to say I just don't have the energy to scrap like I want to.  (But I'm enjoying the workouts!)

I am getting a few things done.  I actually completed these last weekend - pre-snowfall.  These will be at Lila's on display so, if you're in the area, please stop by there and take a closer look.

This week at Let's Scrap!

It just happens that my weeks to contribute to the DT work at Let's Scrap for the weekly sketch have inspired me to do some cards!  This week I got another card sketch and love it!  So easy to work with and it's also so easy to leave simple or build it up to something more complex

Here's what I did with it:
 Supplies
 patterned paper - LYB (Twig)
Cuttlebug Embossing folder
Rub on - from my stash
ribbon - Amuse
Tombow marker
Ink - CM

Thanks for checking out my blog!
